WILD SALMON DONATION

Frödinflies have handed over a donation to The Baltic Salmon Fund in presence of The Swedish King, H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf. After decades of fighting for wild salmon, Frödinflies are taking another step to protect the species by donating 500.000 SEK to The Baltic Salmon Fund. This donation is earmarked for securing fishing rights along the Baltic coast, over 100 salmon traps will be removed which is expected to save thousands of wild salmon. The donation is linked to a special edition fly reel series – SALAR Wild Salmon Series (WSS) – where the symbolism of a leaping wild salmon is unmistakable.

ABOUT US

Mikael Frödin created the Frödinflies brand in Sweden back in 1985. Together with his son Jakob, he launched the new Frödinflies company in 2016 – an independent platform for fly fishing innovation, drawing on a lifetime of experience gained on the river.
