A scientific article sums up facts about C&R in the country (and elsewhere). There has been a lot of debate about Catch and Release, especially concerning mortality. The report referred to in the article shoes that if the fish is handled properly, and the water temperature is below 18-20 degrees Celsius, the mortality rate is between 3 to 8 percent.
