First day on the Em ...good fishing!
First day - great to be back at Em. I came down this morning and planning to fish Home pool first turned out to be right. A gently take and a small 7-pound trout male became the first fish. A little later, I managed to hook another fishon the same little fat Pahtakorva. This time a salmon just over 17 lbs.Rolling down the pool it fisrst fooled me to be another graet trout. The evening fishing was based at the Island Pool. A gently pull, some deep hard bowing in the rod and then slacklina - fu ...! A few casts later tightened it again and after a careful playing I beached a graet nice silvery 12 lbs kg trout in the grass. Cool 3 landed fish for me of a total day catch of 6 - good flow! To morrow we take the big trout!
