Kharlovka ASR, 7. report
Friday
We woke up to fantastic weather that changed to hard rain, the wind came up and it was cold to the bone. We fished Barrel and Rock with a 15 meter/second wind coming in over the right shoulder – tough! I managed to land a medium salmon in Barrel, but that was it, until we got to Home Pool, where I got another. All in all a slow day with tough conditions. We can sum up the first week with 10 salmon and 50 for the whole group of 10 rods. An OK first week, which for a while looked like record catches. Unfortunately there were fewer big salmon than usually! Now we have a couple of hours of fishing, before the next group arrives.
