River Hofsá opened
River Hofsá was opened up for angling last night and Vigfus Orrason caught eight salmon to his rod on beat 5.
See attached photo. Also last night the four Sela rods caught eight salmon. The Russian ambassador to Iceland caught three salmon and Johannes Baldursson using a Sunray Shadow caught a 100 cm and thick salmon which is probably the largest salmon caught in Iceland this season. In Big Laxá Robert Haraldsson caught a 95 cm salmon and at Fljotaa a trout fisher caught a 85 cm salmon.
