Second day!
On Sunday we moved away to Jardines Dela Reina’s west end. This national park is after all a conglomeration of small paradise islands. Here in the west, Bocca Grande - where the average weight of the tarpon is higher than anywhere else on Cuba’s southern coast. The day gave a few fish landed I got a nice 30lbs fish and Gunnar a good fight with a fish double that size - great. Unfortunately, there were few large fish on the flats - a bit strange when all conditions were absolutely ideal! Tonight fishing at Bocca Grande reef did not give a single strike - strange as I said!
