To Reykjavik!

It was with a hint of sadness that we packed our bags and found ourselves defeated by the most famous big salmon river on this fairytale island. Sure, it’s a great river - and with some luck I can come back and fish it when fishing is at its peak, or at least not entirely hopeless. Before the trip home, I got a guided tour of the Ness, the other fine salmon project on the river. Also classic salmon grounds, fantastic pools and a lodge that exudes salmon history! Through the amazing landscape of lava fields run through by rivers the trip home was a little sad...til’ next time!

Tomorrow Therese is coming over, and we are riding out over the lava fields - also a cool experience, really cool!
